Metro Nashville police are asking for the public’s help finding a Colorado man who disappeared after arriving in Nashville for a work conference.
Conor Anderson, 31, was last seen early Sunday morning in the Woodland and Main Street area of East Nashville. Police said he flew to Nashville on Saturday for a work conference and checked into the Millennium Maxwell House hotel.
According to investigators, Anderson flagged down two East Precinct officers around 1 a.m. Sunday and reported that he had given two unknown men $20 to show him around the area. He told officers the men walked away with his money.
Police said the officers advised Anderson that they would need his driver’s license to file a formal report, but he declined. They encouraged him to take a rideshare back to his hotel, and he agreed.
Detectives are reviewing surveillance video and checking phone and bank records as they search for Anderson.
