The Loveless Cafe is celebrating National Biscuit Month with the return of its third annual Biscuit Slider Showdown, giving home cooks, bakers and food lovers across the country a chance to have their own biscuit creation served at the legendary Nashville restaurant. More Eat & Drink News
The competition invites participants to submit their best biscuit slider recipe for consideration. Four winning creations will be selected and announced on Aug. 28, with each featured on the Loveless Cafe menu throughout September.
The competition will culminate on Sept. 19 during the cafe’s Jam Fest birthday celebration, where a panel of Nashville culinary leaders will select one of the four finalists as the grand champion.
The winner will receive free Loveless Cafe biscuits for a year. The Biscuit Slider Showdown is part of the Loveless Cafe’s 75th anniversary celebration. The Nashville institution has long been known for its homemade biscuits, preserves and Southern comfort food.
Submissions for the competition are now open through the Loveless Cafe Biscuit Slider Showdown entry form.
The grand champion will be announced during Jam Fest on Sept. 19 at the Loveless Cafe, located at 8400 Highway 100 in Nashville.
