Ms. Margaret Duke Pate, 66, passed away Friday, August 14, 2026, in Chattanooga. She was born on October 22, 1959, in Cannon County.
She is survived by her daughters Hannah (Matthew) White of Pikeville, Rachel (Daniel) McFerrin of Centertown; grandchildren Layla Purvis, Jordan White, Marshall McFerrin, and Parker McFerrin.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Jesse Pate III, parents Nick Nichols and Ione Nichols, and sister Wanda Roberts.
She was a devoted Christian and homemaker who enjoyed playing with her dog Lillie, roller-skating, and antiquing. Her favorite was spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 2 PM Monday August 17, 2026, in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Al Bugg officiating. Visitation will be from 10 AM to 2 PM Monday at Woodbury Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Brewer-Wiley Cemetery.
