Jeffrey Clayton Underwood of Woodbury, Tennessee passed away on March 16, 2026. He was 62 years old. Jeff was born and raised in Homestead, Florida.
He spent his career working for Blaylock Oil, Homestead, Florida. During his time in Tennessee, he worked for State of Tennessee Department of Agriculture. Jeff and his family moved to Woodbury in 2005.
Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Joann Bryant Underwood, his father, Clayton Thomas Underwood, and son, Carter Joseph Underwood.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Jana Canington Underwood, his son, Clayton Jeffrey Underwood and wife, Callie. Two grandsons, Jaxson and Wyatt. His brother, Rick and wife, Donna. His sister, Vickie and husband, Dean Iacono. Sister-in-law, Jeni and husband Steve Hahn. Step mother, Dolores Underwood, and father-in-law, Paul Bismarck, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins that he loved like brothers and sisters.
Jeff enjoyed fishing in the Florida Keys, hunting, being on the St Mary’s River on Trader’s Hill, and spending time with his family.
The family will have a private memorial at a future date.
